On the 15th November we ran the heats of our Public Speaking Competition at Fettes College. This was our first year with the new format, in which speakers could choose between the serious Persuasive Speaking category and the entertaining After-Dinner Speaking category. Judges were blown away by the quality of the speeches, and had an extremely difficult job choosing which participants would progress to our Final.
