Jane is Director of Marketing and Communications at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh where she really enjoys witnessing young people develop academically and personally. Her career has encompassed various roles in education and in publishing, across both the public and private sectors. Her experience also includes a previous non-executive role in a medium-sized third sector organisation, and voluntary work with children. She joined the board of Young Speakers Scotland because she sees debating and public speaking as engaging and powerful routes through which young people can build their confidence, and so maximise their academic attainment and fulfil their potential more generally.
