On Saturday, 7th October and Saturday, 4th November YSS ran a set of preliminary heats for our Schools Mace Competition. Debaters did an excellent job presenting arguments and rebuttal on the following motions:
Round 1 (prepared): This house would require all police officers in the UK to wear body cameras when on duty
Round 2 (unprepared): This house would ban all advertising
Round 3 (unprepared): This house believes that teachers’ salaries should be tied to the academic performance of their pupils
